Death Penalty Facts

Believe in the Death Penalty? What would you say if I told you that over three hundred people on death row have been exonerated? Not enough? What if I also told you that NAS released a report that says at least three percent of people currently on death row are in fact innocent? Or if you want to put it in a cost context, it costs $308,000,000 to put someone to death. That's ten times more then it costs to put them in prison for life. For that money we could have publically financed Avatar, Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End, Tangled, Spiderman III, The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, or all three Lord of the Rings movies!
