UNLAWFUL DETAINER TRIAL SERVICES

While many tenant defense firms provide an invaluable service to our communities by protecting the legitimate rights of tenants where landlords should be held to account for bad acts or abuses, a few of these firms have taken to using the legal process to extort money and time from good landlords. This can often mean that a landlord is forced to enter an exceedingly unfair and unfavorable settlement agreement with a tenant in order to save money and get their properties back. However, we can fight these unscrupulous firms on your behalf while charging you far less than many landlord firms must charge due to their portfolio makeup. In fact, we often work closely with landlord firms who pass cases to us when it is clear that one of these tenant firms have set its sights on the landlord. We work diligently to force these tenant firms to follow through with each and every threat so that their cases bear far less fruit than they hoped for. The goal is to make this extortion practice undesireable when these firms see the names of our clients in the future.

Trial requires a particular set of skills that many attorneys struggle with. Often attorneys either do not have the natural talent and instincts for trial work or they do not have the proper training to be as effective as possible during trial. Nathaniel Brown has been trained specifically in the art of trial advocacy. While he has a juris doctorate degree, like all attorneys, he also has a Master of Laws in Trial Advocacy. He also also a particular talent for reading the judge, the jury, and the direction of the trial so as to be able to react on the fly when circumstances require.
